Employee Relations & Workforce Support

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to supervisors and employees in the foundry, machine shop, and service shop operations.
  • Coach leaders on handling performance issues, attendance, and employee relations matters with fairness and consistency.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Partner with EHS and operations to reinforce a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Lead employee engagement and communication efforts to strengthen morale and retention.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades, engineers, and administrative roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to forecast labor needs and develop proactive recruiting strategies.
  • Support partnerships with local technical schools and workforce programs (e.g., FAME, high school internships).
  • Oversee onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all locations.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and Texas state employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO, OSHA).
  • Administer employee status changes, separations, and documentation in alignment with company procedures.
  • Process payroll and maintain records for payroll compliance including withholding support orders, compensation analysis reports, etc.
  • Participate in internal HR audits and continuous improvement projects related to labor documentation and compliance.

Performance & Development

  • Support performance review cycles and assist in training supervisors on goal setting, feedback, and documentation.
  • Track completion of mandatory training and coordinate development initiatives through the SupremeServ Academy.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to identify emerging leaders and critical skill gaps in the workforce.

Culture & Communication

  • Help design and promote HR initiatives that build an employee experience centered on respect, safety, and growth.
  • Support internal communication strategies that connect employees to company updates, recognition programs, and values.
  • Assist in coordinating employee events, service awards, and milestone recognitions.
  • Coordinate visitor accommodations and support as needed for meetings or other hosting events at any of our facilities.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Generate and interpret HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, recruiting efficiency, and training compliance.
  • Contribute to Lean Six Sigma and HR transformation projects aimed at improving workforce processes and efficiency.
  • Serve as a subject-matter resource for HRIS, documentation, and reporting accuracy.

Must be available for day travel to our other sites located in Deer Park, TX and Port Allen, LA.
