Brainlabs

Senior Graphic Designer

Argentina Full Time

We are Brainlabs, the High-Performance media agency, on a mission to become the world's biggest and best independent media agency. We plan and buy media that delivers profitable and sustained business impact. And what’s our formula? Superteams of Brainlabbers, fueled by data and enabled by technology.

Brainlabs has always been a culture-first company. In fact, from the very beginnings of the agency a set of shared principles, philosophies and values was documented in The Brainlabs Handbook, helping us create our unique culture.

As with everything here we always seek to adapt and improve so The Brainlabs Handbook has been fine-tuned to become The Brainlabs Culture Code.

This Culture Code consists of 12 codes that talk to what it means to be a Brainlabber. It’s a joint commitment to continuous development and creating a company that we can all be proud of, where Brainlabbers can turn up to do great work, make great friends and win together.

You can read The Brainlabs Culture Code in full here.

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our Creative Studio team. This is a pivotal role for a designer who is not only a master of layout and typography but also a natural leader capable of guiding a team through high-volume, fast-paced deliverables.

Reporting directly to the Director of Creative & Technical Solutions, you will lead the design team in supporting the client on a vast array of assets from website updates and internal collateral to high-stakes insight decks. You won’t just be designing; you will be client-facing, presenting your work with confidence, articulating creative decisions clearly, and ensuring the team’s output is flawless.

Your Portfolio

We want to see how you organize information and elevate brands. As part of the interview process, please share an online portfolio that showcases your expertise. We are open to seeing both personal and professional projects that can include online or print work. From website banners to multi-page insight decks, we want to see "anything and everything" that showcases your skills in layout, composition, and visual storytelling.

What this job is:

  • Client-Facing & Vocal: You will be on calls, in meetings, and front-and-center with the client. Your communication skills must be top-notch, and you must be comfortable presenting creative rationales to stakeholders.
  • Leadership Driven: You are the anchor for the team supporting the client. You will provide guidance, quality control, and mentorship to other designers to ensure brand consistency.
  • High Volume & Fast-Paced: You will manage a large number of assets, ensuring we switch gears from a website update to a pitch deck without missing a beat.

What this job isn’t:

  • Silent Execution: This is not a role where you hide behind a monitor. We need a voice, a presenter, and a partner to our client.
  • Slow-paced: We deal with a large number of assets. You need to be able to switch gears instantly without missing a beat.

What We Are Looking For

  • Top-Notch Communication: You are articulate, persuasive, and professional. You can command a room (or a Zoom call) and build rapport with clients easily.
  • Adaptability: You can strictly follow corporate brand guidelines for a major retailer while still finding ways to be creative and impactful.
  • Microsoft 365 Mastery: You understand that in the corporate world, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are design tools, and you know how to make them sing.
  • Meticulousness: You ensure that even the smallest details in layout and typography are never missed.

Core Responsibilities

Design Leadership & Execution

  • Lead the design team in the execution of a high volume of assets for the client, ensuring rapid turnaround and strict adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Design and oversee the production of diverse deliverables, including website updates, internal collateral documents, marketing materials, and digital assets.
  • Masterfully craft high-level presentations and insight decks using Microsoft PowerPoint, turning raw data and strategy into compelling visual narratives.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure workflows are efficient and deadlines are met across the team.

Client Communication & Strategy

  • Act as the lead creative voice on client participation calls, confidently presenting work, absorbing feedback, and consulting on design strategy.
  • Present storyboards and design concepts in client meetings, confidently discussing your creative decisions.
  • Translate complex client requests into clear, visual solutions that align with campaign strategy.

Team Mentorship

  • Mentor junior designers, providing art direction and feedback to elevate the quality of the studio’s output.
  • Provide guidance to ensure consistency in style, typography, and visual elements across all projects.

The Ideal Skill Set

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team of designers is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with large retail clients or handling high-volume asset production is a "nice to have," but not a deal-breaker.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is non-negotiable. You must be an expert in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for creating templates, decks, and documents.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with Wrike (Project Management tool) is a "nice to have," but the ability and willingness to learn the platform is required.
  • Experience with Figma or Sketch for web-based assets is a plus.
  • Knowledge of print production processes.
