What you’ll contribute to

An exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic Senior Global Mobility Advisor to join our People & Culture team in a permanent full-time role.

 The People and Culture Division leads the implementation of strategic people initiatives across Toyota, fostering a safe and inclusive environment where teammates can thrive and reach their full potential. It delivers best-practice consultancy, training, and development services to Toyota employees and OneToyota affiliates through a shared HR services model. This includes comprehensive organisational development, professional training, and HR advisory services covering health and safety, remuneration and benefits, employee relations, and talent acquisition—supported by advanced technology platforms and systems.

The Senior Global Mobility Advisor is responsible for delivering strategic guidance and operational support across OneToyota’s global mobility programs, covering both international and domestic assignments and relocations. The role ensures alignment of talent mobility strategies with organisational objectives while maintaining compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

This role is based in Altona North, with flexible work arrangements available.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Implement global mobility systems and processes to ensure strategic alignment with organisational objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain compliance. Collaborate closely with HR business partners, talent acquisition teams, and business leaders to align mobility solutions with workforce planning, while contributing to the development of policies and governance frameworks.

  • Provide guidance and contribute to the development of policies and standards for both international and domestic assignments and relocations, supporting global mobility objectives and mitigating organisational risk.

  • Manage complex global mobility cases, including relocations and short-term assignments, ensuring consistent application of mobility policies and practices across regions. Collaborate with external partners—such as tax, immigration, and relocation service providers—to deliver a seamless and compliant employee experience.

  • Coordinate and facilitate forums to effectively communicate mobility strategies, program updates, and compliance risks to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Maintain and update reporting systems to ensure the business has access to accurate and timely data that supports effective planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

  • Provide expert support in evaluating and selecting suppliers to ensure service delivery meets quality expectations at optimal cost. Contribute to ongoing supplier relationship management.

  • Degree qualification or equivalent professional experience in a related role

  • Proven experience in strategic planning and/or operational HR functions

  • Familiarity with global mobility processes is advantageous

  • Proven expertise in Kaizen and process improvement, with a strong ability to evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement changes that enhance operational efficiency.

  • Excellent communication skills working with the senior management team to achieve long term global mobility efficiencies and successful planning for global assignments.
