The Group Benefits Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis team is looking for a tech savvy Senior Financial Analyst to take ownership of our Advisor Rewards bonus database and reporting who has strong excel capability and with experience or an interest in using more advanced tools. The Group Benefits Advisor Rewards Program enables our sales teams to build stronger relationships with advisors to support customers and drive business results. Reporting to the Manager of Field Compensation, this position will be responsible for a broad range of financial control and reporting functions, including calculating wholesaler incentive compensation, sales validation, expense analytics, budgeting and forecasting, and business and strategic planning activities. This role provides excellent exposure to sales reporting, multiple contacts within GB Finance and our various business unit partners as well as an opportunity for growth within Manulife.
Position Responsibilities:
Preparation of complex bonus calculations. This process involves gathering input measures from various sources, processing and reviewing results, seeking approval for payouts as well as distributing individualized statements to advisor entities
Perform database maintenance and enhancements
Developing metrics, tracking and reporting sales leaders
Perform quarterly forecasting and reporting, and ensure accurate and timely payout of advisor bonus
Support the annual modeling of advisor bonus plans
Perform ongoing review of reports to ensure best practices and efficiency are achieved, implementing approved enhancements where appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
University degree or equivalent industry experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including macros) and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Proven ability to work independently, manage several priorities, and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.
Continuous improvement mentality with a passion for process optimization and operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Group Benefits or Individual markets is a benefit.
Database, SQL, VBA and PowerBI Knowledge are an asset
Professional accounting or finance designation is an asset.
Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Quebec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

Salary range is expected to be between
