JOB DESCRIPTION:
For our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Division, we are recruiting an EMEA Senior Financial Analyst to be based in our EMEA HQ in Zaventem, Belgium.
Purpose of the Job
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in enabling commercial and financial leadership to make data-driven decisions impacting the division’s profitability. This position provides comprehensive analysis and systematic data support, acting as a trusted business partner to commercial managers and support functions across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted business partner to commercial and financial leadership within the assigned area.
- Analyze large, complex data sets to develop solutions that predict, measure, and improve financial outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver reports and analysis for planning, forecasting, and P&L management, focusing on sales, margin, SG&A costs, and marketing data.
- Consolidate regional data and provide EMEA-level insights, including executive-ready presentations for leadership and divisional FP&A teams.
- Apply creative problem-solving and rigorous analysis to support bottom-up builds and ensure audit-proof accuracy.
- Maintain organized systems for easy access to relevant data by EMEA CRM management.
- Ensure efficient processes for timely data collection and consolidation from EMEA regions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support projects aimed at enhancing forecasting accuracy, transparency, and standardization.
- Actively participate in cross-functional improvement projects.
Key Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, scenarios), PowerBI, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Strong analytical mindset
- Ability to connect the dots - make numbers speak
- Highly accurate, detail-oriented, and capable of preparing audit-proof documentation
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to process improvement
- Experience with SAP ERP and Hyperion Planning/Essbase preferred
- Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts and present results effectively
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); a second European language is a plus.
- Team player with experience working in a matrix organization.
