About the Team
The Financial Reporting team is a key part of Diageo’s Controller’s Group, playing a central role in ensuring accurate, transparent, and timely external financial reporting. The team focuses on:
Preparing the Group’s Annual Report, Red Book, Press Release, and statutory filings such as 20-F and 6-K, with particular emphasis on Treasury-related sections.
Monitoring and reporting on central and treasury entities, ensuring governance, compliance, and risk management in Treasury Operations and Financial Reporting.
Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned regions, providing regional support on group accounting questions and reviewing figures submitted by markets.
Being a great partner with external advisors, including PwC, and providing technical support on projects affecting external reporting.
Driving group-level initiatives and collaborating closely with markets to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to consolidating and reporting group results, providing critical support across accounting, reporting, and risk management for Finance and Treasury.
This role supports the accurate and timely preparation of external financial statements and reports, including:
Preparing accounting papers and supporting documentation for complex accounting issues.
Involvement in Transactional FX and Net Investment hedging documentation processes.
Performing market value calculations for financial instruments and managing related operational tasks.
Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of Treasury entities and monitoring all treasury transactions for accounting impacts.
Supporting statutory accounts for Treasury entities and producing relevant sections of the Group Annual Report and Half-Year Results.
Collaborating with Group Tax, auditors, and service providers on reporting and project-related matters.
Enhancing execution and rationalization across accounting and reporting functions.
Supporting the Financial Reporting Junior Manager/Manager with projects and business-as-usual tasks, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
About you
You are a dynamic finance professional with 2–3 years of experience in multinational corporations or Big Four environments, holding a BA or MA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. You thrive in fast-paced, complex environments, with a consistent track record in accounting, reporting, and finance projects. You are passionate about driving accurate and timely financial processes, streamlining workflows, and delivering solutions that create real business value. Known for your strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and ability to influence and inspire teams, you enjoy working collaboratively to achieve results.

Accounting & Reporting Expertise: Hands-on experience with General Accounting (GA) and Record-to-Report (RTR) processes, ensuring precision and compliance.
