As a Senior Finance Project Manager, you will play a pivotal strategic role within the Global Functions Finance team, reporting directly to the Senior Finance Director – Global Functions. You will be responsible for coordinating, managing and consolidating a diverse portfolio of operational and strategic initiatives, while establishing robust governance frameworks that ensure effective execution and alignment with the functions.
In this capacity, you will provide strong leadership and project oversight, partnering closely with Finance Directors and the Global Finance Functions Leadership Team to drive enhance performance, and support key decision-making across the organization.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects across Global Functions, ensuring alignment with the financial targets, and operational priorities.
Design and implement a governance framework that drive accountability, transparency, and effective decision-making across all project phases.
Serve as a strategic liaison between Finance, Global Functions, and leadership, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and ensuring consistent communication of project goals and progress.
Monitor and report on project performance using financial KPIs and milestone tracking, enabling data-driven insights and timely course corrections.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory standards, embedding risk management practices into all project activities.
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and leverage digital tools.
Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations and executive briefings, translating complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Support any internal and external financial audit processes by working in close collaboration with Auditors and provide co-ordination and guidance to Global Functions Finance teams
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
University degree e.g. Financials, Business, Economy or related discipline
Relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MBA or equivalent)
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in finance, project management, or business transformation roles, ideally within a global or matrixed organization.
Financial Acumen: strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills, advanced analytical capabilities, including experience with financial modelling, scenario planning, and data interpretation.
Communication & Influence, excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
Experience in a global organisation across a matrix environment with cross-functional stakeholders.
Advanced Microsoft applications (Project, Excel, PowerPoint), familiarity with ERP system SAP and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across cultures, time zones, and functional boundaries.
