Let's start with the role

 

The Senior Facilities Engineer is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all building systems, while leading key facilities projects, including new building construction. This role ensures strong project management capabilities, cost control, and value engineering. It also involves vendors and maintenance programs, supporting procurement activities and ensuring compliance with regulations Working closely with other stakeholders, the Senior Facilities Engineer provides regulatory compliance, technical expertise on escalated issues and supports space planning and operational needs.

 

As a Senior Facilities Engineer, you will: 
  • Ensure optimal performance of all building systems through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and effective management of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Lead project management for facilities initiatives and new building construction, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, value engineering, and coordination of all project phases.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including scopes of work, technical specifications, budgets, timelines, and progressive reports for key stakeholders.
  • Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring high-quality execution, adherence to specifications, and full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support procurement activities by preparing technical requirements, evaluating proposals, and providing expert recommendations for vendor and contractor selection.
  • Ensure operational compliance with local regulations and company policies, support space planning and office moves in collaboration with HR and IT, and address escalated facilities requests with advanced technical expertise.

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or related field).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Construction or Facilities company.
  • Proficient level of spoken and written English.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel & AutoCAD.
