Senior Due Diligence Consultant

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for conducting first level quality control on customer due diligence files.
  • Ensuring that all customer due diligence is completed in accordance with applicable requirements and adheres to the documented policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate and partner with the KYC Maker to ensure findings are addressed adequately per KYC Policy and procedures
  • Review and analyse ongoing due diligence processes and challenges that require research, investigation, evaluation, and selection of alternatives
  • Provide subject matter expertise on documentation and data sources and exercise independent judgment to guide moderate to high-risk deliverables
  • Compile and evaluate report results and escalate when necessary to leadership.
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet functional area process deliverables
  • Leverage solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers and internal and external customers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Conduct trend analysis on common findings and team training where required.
  • Provide training to analysts on enterprise and jurisdictional CDD requirements
  • Report QC statistics and trends to management
  • Liaise with policy team and financial crimes management team on requirement updates
  • Assist manager with any ad-hoc audit/testing/regulatory requests


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Due Diligence experience, or equivalent (including risk management, client service, operations support, or business process management) demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

  • Experience in Due Diligence, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Quality control process or a experience in Customer onboarding or Customer ongoing due diligence.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills required.
  • Proficient in Excel and MI reporting is desired
