Senior DevOps Engineer

So, what’s the role all about?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS Cloud, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipeline management. This role will be responsible for leading automation initiatives, optimizing deployment workflows, and ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of infrastructure and applications across environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS, CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions & Workflows, Docker, and Python, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

How will you make an impact?

• Design, build, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure ensuring scalability, availability, and resiliency.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation and Terraform for automated provisioning and environment management.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, enabling zero-downtime deployments and faster delivery cycles.
• Experience with Jenkins shared libraries.
• Automate operational workflows, monitoring, and deployment validation through Python or Groovy scripts.
• Implement robust containerization practices using Docker and manage orchestration via ECS.
• Manage configuration, versioning, and integration of infrastructure components using Git-based workflows.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and participate in code reviews for pipeline and infrastructure automation.
• Contribute to the evaluation of new DevOps tools, technologies, and methodologies for continuous improvement.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-mortem reviews to drive operational excellence. 

Have you got what it takes?

• Experience: 4-7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, VPC, Route53, IAM, CloudFront, CloudWatch, etc.).
• IaC: Expertise in Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
• CI/CD: Proven experience in building and maintaining pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions/Workflows.
• Containers: Proficiency in Docker, ECS, and image management best practices.
• Scripting: Strong command over Python and Groovy script for automation
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect / Terraform Associate

• Maintain and improve automation frameworks to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Support continuous integration, delivery, and environment readiness for all release activities.
• Drive innovation through the evaluation and adoption of emerging DevOps technologies.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure audit readiness and cost efficiency.
