THE ROLE: 

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer ready to collaborate with one of our most relevant clients in the finance sector, known primarily for its credit rating division and its analytics segment, which provides risk management software and data.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Working with a large in-production legacy system with limited documentation. Skills in discovery and documentation are a must.
  • 3 Pillars of the Work:
    • 1. Platform modernization to serverless
    • 2. Security standardization and vulnerability management
    • 3. Monitoring standardization
  • Work closely with the wider client’s team, including developers and operations to drive cross-team communication to ensure a smooth transition
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues independently that may arise during the transition.
  • Ability to architect a automation and deployment system.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Experience with Cloud providers, as AWS and GCP.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker. 
  • Knowledge of Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure.
  • General understanding of Python.
  • Experience with mySQL from a database perspective.
