[What the role is]
The Innovation Ecosystem Development (IED) team drives initiatives to strengthen Singapore’s enterprise innovation landscape. We aim to position Singapore as a Global-Asia hub for technology, innovation, and enterprise by identifying and catalysing opportunities for market-led innovation while supporting the growth of innovative local companies and startups.[What you will be working on]
As part of the IED team, you will design and deliver initiatives that help startups and SMEs innovate, commercialise solutions, and expand globally. Working with cross-functional teams, you will support the management and enhancement of flagship programmes such as StartupSG and the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA).
We are looking for a Development Partner or Senior Development Partner to join us in shaping Singapore’s future by accelerating enterprise innovation and growth!
Key Responsibilities:
Systems and Process Integration – Partner programme offices and technical teams to integrate schemes into grant systems, and co-develop automated, efficient workflows with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Policy and Governance – Ensure schemes remain agile and well-governed, balancing innovation outcomes with accountability.
Programme Management – Oversee the implementation of StartupSG and/or GIA programmes, including tracking partner progress, evaluating project outcomes, and ensuring audit readiness.
Ecosystem Partnerships – Build and sustain relationships with accelerators, corporates, and innovation intermediaries to deliver tech-matching, advisory, and talent development initiatives.
Strategic Projects – Contribute to cross-divisional initiatives such as data and AI projects (e.g. database management, dashboard development, AI bots) and Open Innovation Calls that strengthen the innovation ecosystem.

Key Collaborations:
External accounting, audit, and legal firms – to uphold governance and internal controls
Internal account management and programme teams – for project structuring and grant disbursement
Senior management – for policy formulation, process reviews, and governance recommendations
[What we are looking for]
A resourceful, digitally savvy self-starter with a background in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accountancy, or Technology (other disciplines welcome)
Strong grasp of accountancy, governance, risk management, and internal controls
Experience with financial statements, internal or operational audits is an advantage
Excellent team player and communicator, with strong writing and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinker with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
Independent, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
Passionate about strengthening Singapore’s innovation ecosystem
