At FCT, the Senior Software Developer plays a key leadership role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining innovative software systems that power our business and enable superior service in the industry. This position is instrumental in analyzing business requirements, negotiating with the architecture team, and delivering efficient, secure, and scalable software solutions that align with FCT’s strategic goals.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Participate in the design of software solutions based on business needs, collaborating with the architecture team to ensure appropriate design patterns, frameworks, and tools are used.

  • Develop and implement software solutions to meet business requirements, working independently or as part of a development team.

  • Develop automated unit test suites to validate software changes. Collaborate with QA teams and system owners to ensure successful integration and deployment.

  • Design and implement robust, repeatable deployment processes for enterprise-level software applications.

  • Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to provide technical input and feedback during requirements and design sessions.

  • Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Review code for design, security, and implementation flaws. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience in software development, with demonstrated expertise in enterprise application development.

  • 5+ years of experience with C# and the .NET Framework (including ASP.NET, .NET Core, and MVC Architecture).

  • Strong background in Web Development using JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, jQuery, Ajax, and JSON.

  • Experience with responsive and adaptive interface design for browser-based desktop applications.

  • Solid understanding of database design, development, and maintenance using MS SQL Server.

  • Familiarity with n-tier architecture, object-oriented programming (OOP), and secure coding practices.

  • Experience with Agile(Scrum) methodologies.

  • Angular experience considered a strong asset.
