WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We’re seeking a passionate Senior Designer, Apparel for Nike Atelier. A maker at heart, that works fast, curious, with strong patternmaking and sewing skills. You move fast, think creatively, and bring ideas to life through hands-on exploration. You have a sharp eye for proportion, construction, and detail, and thrive in translating concept into crafted product.

  • Bachelor's degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Fashion Design or related field.
  • Ability to apply and perform design skills such as drawing/sketching, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing and scale, visual presentation development and layout.
  • Familiarity with current trends, color and design.
  • Strong knowledge of patternmaking, draping, materials, trims, garment fit, garment construction, and manufacturing.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You’ll work with the Lead Designer and Senior Design Director to bring creative ideas to life through apparel. You’ll prototype, test, and refine, building quickly while maintaining precision and intent.

  • Design and develop apparel across key projects and collaborations.
  • Create and refine patterns with accuracy and attention to fit and proportion.
  • Prototype garments to evolve creative direction.
  • Experiment with materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
  • Collaborate across Design, Brand, and Sport Marketing.
  • Proactively implement all apparel product details including construction detail, color, form, style, detail, fit performance, and trims. 
  • Partner and clearly communicate with all relevant members within Design, Technical Development and external suppliers.
  • Create presentation materials that effectively communicate the concept behind the seasonal designs to internal audiences.
