The Senior Data Engineer role presents a strategic opportunity to drive innovation and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is critical for enabling scalable analytics, machine learning workflows, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and reliability.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines for batch and streaming workflows.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes and data models for analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Drive performance improvements in data infrastructure and workflows.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and data pipeline frameworks (Airflow, Kafka, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and ETL design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to machine learning pipelines or MLOps.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
