What You’ll Be Doing

At Enterprise Digital, we’re building the bank of the future. The Senior Consultant, Enterprise Digital Strategy will drive and articulate the strategic direction of CIBC’s digital growth, initiatives and client experience. This role will be responsible for partnering across CIBC’s business units to build our enterprise digital strategy, based on the needs of our partners across the bank while also taking into account external factors that will influence our digital future.

This is a highly collaborative mandate with exposure across the bank and will require strong thought leadership, strategic decision-making and proactive stakeholder management. The role will lead cross-functional efforts with an objective to put in place highly complex strategic digital transformation and integration activities to drive increased profitability, productivity and client experience. The focus of this role will be flexible to meet the needs of our evolving digital strategy as the industry changes and our needs evolve.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Enable the strategic vision: Develop and support the enterprise digital strategy including the strategic digital roadmap that takes into account individual business needs of digital channels and SBUs across our bank, while also ensuring alignment of the strategy with external factors that will influence our digital future.
  • Collaboration & communication: Leverage a one team approach to identify and prioritize channel strategies that drive profitable revenue growth, adoption and usage of digital channels to support meeting client’s needs and CIBC channel strategies. Effectively consult and collaborate with key partners and stakeholders across CIBC to develop unified digital banking platforms and capabilities. Create transparency and visibility to ensure alignment and clarity across the board.
  • Influence our future: Build expertise in foundational digital capabilities, factor these into the roadmap, and generate alignment across the enterprise to advance exploration.
  • Enable new opportunities and our future: Assess market and emerging digital opportunities for increased revenue growth and enhanced client experiences, and stay relevant in advances within digital banking. Design and deliver robust business cases for proposed strategic direction and associated initiatives. Solicit feedback formally and informally from stakeholders and all lines of business to ensure ongoing leadership strength and momentum.
