What You’ll Be Doing
As an integral member of the National Office team, reporting to the Director, Advisor Enablement & Business Development, the Senior Consultant, Design and Communications you will play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating our brand through expert design guidance and creative execution across a variety of channels. The Sr. Consultant leads the development of visually engaging content for both internal and external audiences, including digital platforms, national events, advisor and client-facing resources. Collaborating with key stakeholders you will leverage your digital and design expertise to deliver impactful designs and storytelling that drive audience engagement and support business objectives. The Sr. Consultant is a forward-thinking content builder, continuously embracing innovation and evolving design trends to deliver best-in-class solutions.

How You’ll Succeed
Design, branding, print & production - Ideate and execute creative concepts that elevate brand storytelling and drive internal and external audience engagement. Design engaging visuals, graphics, animations, and other assets for digital, print and multimedia media channels, including marketing campaigns, social media, emails, presentations, client seminars, sales tools, print collateral, signage. Ensure quality, brand consistency and tone of voice is present and properly applied when designing content and geared towards the targeted audience. Stay ahead of trends in design and content production. Adapt and localize national creative assets across formats. Partner with CIBC internal and external partners to support client events, internal advisor events and sponsorships by leading the design and development of event-related materials.
Digital & UX Support - Create, project manage and lead the design and user experience of online digital properties and website enhancements with subsequent content management. Create wireframes/mockups for UX/UI enhancements. Contribute to website visuals, banners, landing pages, and email designs. Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to improve click-through and user interaction through better design. Ensure regular updates to our internal and external digital platforms and communicate results/metrics.
Collaboration & workflow - Ensure internal digital, content strategy, communications and translations partnerships are leveraged to ensure effective triage and intake of content creation and smooth execution. Develop strong strategic partnerships with stakeholders across CIBC to aid in the development, execution and approvals on projects handled including Brand, MarComm, Digital, Product, Client Strategy, Legal, Compliance and outside vendors. Balance multiple deadlines with creativity and organization.
Who you are
You have a degree/diploma in Marketing, Design and/or a related field of study and 3 to 5years of work experience and knowledge of the financial services industry.
You can demonstrate work experience and in-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, HTML/CSS and Microsoft Office applications. Proficiency in Figma and Adobe XD and/or similar UX/UI design tools. Social Media advertising experience is an asset.
You are digitally savvy with an ability to seek out innovative solutions to overcome all obstacles and embrace evolving technologies while easily adapting to new tools and trends
You can demonstrate 3 to 5years of work experience in research, and cultivating best-in-class design principles to deliver content in the most impactful and deliberate way for the intended audience.
Ability to think strategically to create an in-depth creative roadmap that executes on the team’s initiatives, encompassing various channels of communication, audiences, and outreach tactics
A highly-effective team-player that is able to work with a myriad of partners and contributors to cultivate impactful outcomes and sustain these partnerships for the long-term, as well build and maintain rapport on behalf of the Financial and Investment Advice team
Demonstrates time management skills to ensure that competing initiatives are all maintained and outcomes are delivered on time.
