The Senior Consultant, Contracts provides guidance to ACS' business units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements. They are responsible for initiating, tracking and monitoring contract changes, negotiation, deliverables, correspondence and risks, and maintaining associated documentation. The Senior Consultant, Contracts uses standardized processes and tools to blend contract compliance with business acumen, experience and practicality to focus on contract execution, compliance and risk mitigation.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Consultant, Contracts will manage, negotiate, and monitor vendor contracts. You will be responsible for providing interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations as well as negotiate contract modifications, revisions and terms and conditions with vendors. Responsible for execution and management of licensing, event related contracts; including -- new master agreements, amendments, extensions, Statements of Work, etc Responsible for assisting business units with contract negotiation and execution for contracts related to assisted-sourcing and self-sourcing projects and opportunities Responsible for executing contracts in support of ACS' enterprise contract management tools, templates, processes and policies Partners with business units to navigate the Enterprise Contract Management Lifecycle; ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly. Understand and ensure adherance to ACS legal, risk and contract standards. Escalate complex legal matters as appropriate. Assist ACS business units by presenting contractually negotiated terms (eg contract forms and templates) and advising teams on how to work within internal systems, ensuring minimal legal and financial risk to ACS Administer contracts in accordance with ACS policies and procedures, provide interpretation and analysis of contract documents and review and evaluate customer request for changes in, or revisions of, contracts that involve technical specifications, cost or schedule impact to ACS Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Constantly prioritize workload and provide clear and accurate direction to business partners as it relates to contracts, company objectives and timeline for completing tasks Identifies risks and issues; suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met Assist with the development, implementation and education about supply chain contract processes and procedures Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc. in conjuction with Enterprise Contract Management Prepares contract summaries (including cost, risks, term, etc) for contracts prior to execution by senior leadership

FORMAL KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain; or a level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Contract management or paralegal certification desiredOTHER SKILLS Minimum five years contract management experience (including negotiation) Combination of education and experience in procurement and contracts Paralegal or other legal contract writing knowledge and experience Possess comprehensive knowledge of general corporate business practices and contracting regulations and principles Three or more years' experience in management of strategic supplier relationships and contracts Strong negotiation and leadership skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills Must be a self-started and be good at taking initiative to obtain direction or clarification on projects Must be flexible regarding work routine (ie -- be able to work on a wide range or projects with frequent interruptions) but progress projects in a timely manner Must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented Highly proficient in using Microsoft Word, and proficient other other MS products (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) Ability to advise and interact with all levels of management Able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills Self confident with excellent interpersonal skills

SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR KNOWLEDGE
Strong working knowledge of procurement and sourcing policies, processes, and procedures. Experience in GEP, Ariba or similar Sourcing and Procurement modules is preferred.
