Due to growth, we’re looking for a Senior Communications Strategist to join our team in Melbourne and help shape and deliver cutting-edge communication and content strategies for leading brands in the sports and entertainment space. This role is central to our ambition to create additional value for clients through a PR offering that is bold, differentiated, and deeply integrated across our business. You will work closely with brand teams to develop and execute highly engaging content strategies across all media touchpoints, with a strong emphasis on social media platforms. Your expertise will help brands connect authentically with audiences, drive engagement, and create shareable moments that resonate.
Core responsibilities:
Strategically consult with our clients by developing integrated communications plans aligned with brand and audience objectives. Build strong relationships and provide expert, consultative guidance
Lead on content strategies by creating and executing high-impact social content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Meta, X, and emerging channels
Maximise audience engagement through platform insights, algorithms, and the latest behavioural trends
Collaborate with different departments (Creative, Strategy, and Activation) to produce bold, relevant, and shareable content
Identify and collaborate with talent/influencers to tell the right story and amplify campaigns
Apply advanced analytics tools to evaluate effectiveness and fine-tune strategies
A bit about you:
A proven background in social media activation and cross-platform content strategy, ideally in sports and entertainment marketing with a focus on storytelling and audience engagement
Demonstrated skill engaging with influencers/talent, building relationships, and amplifying brand campaigns
Strategic thinking with the ability to convert insights into actionable communication plans
Excellent presentation and communication abilities, plus a collaborative, cross-functional approach
Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships, advising on PR best practices, and overseeing high-profile projects
