The Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal is a valued member of our preeminent real estate practice and will service a wide range of transactions and support real estate lawyers across our U.S. offices.

This position has a billable requirement of 1,650 hours per year and will be located in one of our West Coast offices - Los Angeles or San Francisco.
The position's primary responsibilities include:
Conduct National Commercial Title and ALTA/Boundary survey review and analysis;
Obtain owner/loan title policies with required endorsements;
Obtain and review zoning reports, along with Certificates of Occupancy, zoning Letters, and violation searches;
Prepare applications for permits;
Obtain and review permits and local government codes/ordinances;
Prepare and manage closing checklists;
Prepare transactional, conveyancing and closing documents;
Perform UCC searches and conduct analysis;
Prepare corporate formation, operating documents, and organizational charts;
Due diligence review and organization;
File and project organization;
Meet the minimum requirement of 1,650 annual billable hours;

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong written and oral communication skills;
Comfortable conducting internet-based research, with excellent analytical skills;
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with or without direct supervision;
Sound judgment in decision-making, high integrity, and utmost respect for confidentiality;
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (including Excel) and other computer skills;
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects and multiple streams of work;
Flexibility to work additional hours as needed and a willingness to travel.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Five (5)+ years of direct professional experience.
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and work experience;
Paralegal certificate and large law firm experience is desirable.
HOURS
Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including one hour for lunch, with overtime as required.
The annualized salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $124,500 to $163,500 and San Franciso is $140,000 to $183,500 depending on the candidate's overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. In addition, full time employees as well as some part time employees, will be eligible for the firm’s fringe benefits as they currently exists.
