Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

Position Summary:

Milacron is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team in Batavia, OH. In this role, you will support our commercial operations by providing insightful financial analysis, supporting forecasting processes, and partnering with sales, operations, and management to drive profitability and strategic growth. The role also assists on management of projects to automate data visualization. Throughout all tasks, the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst works through problem identification and solution seeking to constantly advance and improve business processes and effectively communicate data to leaders.

 

Work You’ll Do:

•     Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), goals, and market trends during monthly business reviews to inform strategic decision-making.

•     Analyze business and financial data to make recommendations including product line margins, market share, and end markets

•     Forecast future revenue for the SIOP process, AOP, and quarterly budgeting

•     Drive process improvements to automated reports and dashboards for upper management

•     Supply the sales team with relevant data and insights to improve customer relationship management and sales strategies.

•     Compile data and presentations related to commercial operations and sales

•     Report analysis to senior leadership and lead discussion

•     Support a shared vision for commercial operations’ initiatives

•     Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

•     Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

•     Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment

•     Salesforce or CRM reporting experience preferred

•     Intermediate experience with Microsoft 365 products: Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI

•     Effective communicator and critical thinker

•     Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
