ABOUT THE PROJECT
We are focusing on developing global solutions across different geographical locations. Our main aim is to create efficient, user-friendly, and scalable solutions that could be used by different teams in our company. We believe that strong and robust data products could mitigate risks and improve our capability within Client's group.
The main objective of the project you will join is to provide:
- Work with the Global Data Hub that includes operations from multiple countries all over the world (Europe, North and South America, Asia).
- Incorporate new information into the data hub, whether new products or new countries.
- Work on the financial accounting reconciliation engine.
- Support the different teams that consume the information from the data hub.
- Work with different countries and data providers.
We run our projects in SCRUM/Agile methodology as we believe that continuous delivery that enables a quick feedback loop is the key to our success and the satisfaction of our clients.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Senior Business Analyst, your mission will be to transfer user requirements to the team, functional design, and validation of a regulatory application.
We need somebody like you to help us on different fronts.
- You will define the business logic of a Big Data system to achieve the project’s goals.
- You will act as an expert across multiple projects, guiding the teams and conducting business research and/or data analysis.
- You will support the business and functions in assessing the current state operating model and translating it into target operating models.
- You will be responsible for gathering and preparing business requirements from users.
- You will be responsible for creating test plans and closely cooperating with software developers to perform different types of testing and test validations.
- You will create a competitive environment to set high standards, encourage, and support continual improvements within the team.
- You will create Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) and Functional Specification Documentation (FSDs).
- You will use Scrum methodology and be part of a high-performance team.
- You will document your solutions in Client’s tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ALM…
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To get the job done, you should have:
- Significant Business/Data Analysis or Product Management experience (software, 5+ years, multiple organizations).
- Worked directly with software development teams and an understanding of the Product Development Cycle.
- Experience working in SCRUM or another Agile framework.
- University background oriented toward financial/business.
- SQL knowledge.
- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced user level.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Understanding of the banking and/or financial services industry and/or shared services organizations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills.
- Very good command of English (at least B2+).
Nice to have:
- Understanding of financial products in the wholesale banking/investment banking environment (FXs, bonds, equities, etc.).
- Familiarity with Scrum methodology.
- Experience in software development projects and the software development life cycle (HP ALM, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Big Data/Spark/cloud environments.
- Spanish will be a plus.
- Certification of Competency in Business/Data Analysis would be a plus.
- Some knowledge of CI/CD, JIRA, Confluence, and automated testing tools would be a plus.
