About the role
The Senior Business Analyst is primarily responsible for providing high quality, delivery focused technical & business analysis, whilst championing the qualities and behaviors required to build a world class delivery culture.
As a core member of the Credit & Collections Platform team you will be working closely with the Product Owner, Functional Architect’s and delivery partners to bridge the gap between business and technical requirements with the goal of deploying & embedding a modern SaaS decisioning platform into the AGL Customer Markets architecture. You will be responsible for the end-to-end elicitation, management & deployment of the business & technical requirements within the workstream.
This role will be working closely with delivery partners to ensure cohesion across system dependencies including the documentation of processes, requirements, technical considerations and overseeing test outputs to ensure minimal defects throughout the development lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing:
Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders to drive the definition of objectives & requirements, influencing where appropriate to ensure best practice
Decompose features into epics and stories (utilising I.N.V.E.S.T. best practices)
Document detailed requirements with supporting acceptance and testing criteria scenarios
Facilitate estimation, prioritisation, and planning workshops, identifying and managing inter-team, inter-release, and other external dependencies
Maintain functional documentation as a suite for all platform functionality
Define and champion the quality & governance standards across the delivery framework & internal team artefacts/processes
Enforce adherence to our processes to ensure quality & compliance
Foster a high-performance culture by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Co-ordination of vendors and impacted business units to enable delivery of requirements
Future thinking and preparation for Change Management, Training and Coaching readiness
What You'll Bring:
5 years experience as a Business Analyst in similar or related businesses and at least 2 years experience writing technical requirements & stories
Experience documenting and testing decisioning engine/tables requirements
Clear track record of successful delivery of technical/digital projects
Demonstrated experience in the Credit & Collections industry
Multiple instances of proficiently delivering complex, large initiatives end-to-end in a scaled agile environment
Strong understanding of enterprise Credit and Collections, advantageous if in utilities
Understanding of Australian Energy regulations
