Senior BI & Data Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior BI & Data Solutions Architect to join our strategic team within the Nasdaq FinTech business unit. This pivotal role will drive the design and implementation of scalable analytics infrastructure, integrate AI and BI capabilities, and empower business users with robust self-service analytics solutions. As a key contributor to our Revenue Intelligence team, you will optimize and scale reporting architecture, leverage internal data lakes, and establish new data integrations. You will also design, build, and visualize data through dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data architecture and BI engineering, significant hands-on experience with modern ETL/ELT and stream processing tools, and advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL and Python. Familiarity with Salesforce, BI tools, automation tools, and large language models (LLMs) is essential. A strong curiosity and the ability to extract insights from complex or noisy data is critical, as is demonstrated experience leveraging machine learning, AI, and intelligent agents to deliver value at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Architect scalable data pipelines and models to support FinTech analytics needs.
  • Unify data and AI across platforms including Salesforce, Databricks, and BI tools.
  • Empower analytics team with intuitive data structures and provide training for self-service analytics.
  • Represent FinTech priorities with technical governance and present data strategy to senior leadership.
  • Ensure data validation, quality, and compliance across all analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a large, matrixed organization using agile frameworks

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in data architecture, BI engineering, or analytics leadership.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as PL/SQL and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with modern ETL/ELT and stream processing tools.
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Experience with Databricks Lakehouse and Lakehouse Federation architecture.
  • Strong analytical skills focused on data validation and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in financial markets is a plus.
  • Understanding of machine learning and AI models for forecasting, insights, and automation.

The base pay range for this role is $120,000 - $200,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
