Job Description

We are looking for a highly driven and entrepreneurial individual to join Traveloka as a Senior Associate Market Manager for Cruise. This role is responsible for managing our cruise business — from partner acquisition to performance management — to build a scalable, competitive, and customer-centric cruise offering on Traveloka.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Partnership Management: Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with cruise operators (local, regional, and global). Negotiate commercial terms, ensure inventory integration, and maintain strong long-term partnerships.
  • Commercial Strategy & Performance: Develop and execute strategies to drive booking volume, revenue, and margin. Monitor performance metrics and optimize supply quality, pricing competitiveness, and availability.
  • Product Enablement & Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to ensure cruise offerings are well-represented on the platform. Provide input into UI/UX, API integrations, and feature prioritization based on business's needs and customer's feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing (for campaigns and promotions), Customer Care (for escalation handling and policy alignment), BizOps (for process improvements), and Data (for insights and reporting).
  • Market Insights & Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on cruise industry trends, pricing strategies, customer behavior, and competitive landscape. Translate insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure accurate content, smooth booking experience, and resolution of supply-related issues. Establish scalable processes for partner onboarding, updates, and compliance.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years in the travel industry, with specific experience in e-commerce or OTA sales and account management. Experience in managing Cruise related business is a big plus.
  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or Social Science from top local or international universities.
  • Ability to manage and achieve performance targets; Proficient in tracking progress and adjusting strategies effectively based on performance.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities and guide decisions.
  • Strong negotiation, project management, and stakeholder skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, data-driven, and thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to travel, conduct partner visits and work beyond office setting as needed
  • Excellent communication in English; other languages a plus
  • Capable of working autonomously with minimal guidance, demonstrating quick learning and results-driven.
