Senior Associate, Debt Capital Markets

The Senior Associate, Debt Capital Markets, reporting to the SVP, Debt Capital Markets, is responsible for helping to lead loan origination/refinancing across the portfolio, to strategize on future financing transactions, transition loans post-closing to appropriate debt asset management verticals and interact consistently with Blackstone counterparts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Secures large volume SASB CMBS, balance sheet (bank/Lifeco/debt fund), and construction financing associated with Link acquisitions, dispositions, development, and refinancing activities; a typical year at Link involves billions of dollars of borrowing activities

  • Leads the loan marketing process, lender due diligence process during closing, and securitization efforts, which requires collaboration with multiple internal teams (including leasing, asset management, acquisitions, and legal teams) as well as external teams (including lenders, brokers and counsels)

  • Works with a large volume of data across multiple transactions, properties, and portfolios to deliver or review underwriting, sizing, or cash management analysis within tight timeframes

  • Coordinates extensively with Blackstone’s Debt Capital Markets and Asset Management teams to ensure debt strategy and borrowing activities align with BX

  • Produces regular Link management/BX debt reporting packages

  • Ensures the quality and accessibility of Link’s debt related data

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years experience with secured debt/mortgage markets and transactions

  • Extremely strong interpersonal, management, and collaboration skills

  • Keen eye for process management and improvement

  • Strong attention to detail, time prioritization and awareness, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently to deliver results as well as ability to collaborate well within a group

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

$205,000 - $225,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link.  Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
