The Credit & Compliance administrator for Webster Staffing Solutions researches, implements, and assists in the areas of banking regulations, contract law and internal policy & procedure. The position works closely with the Staffing Solutions staff on compliance procedures and verifies that compliance is taking place. The position works closely with outside legal counsel in overseeing contract documentation and is also a key contact for Staffing Solutions with internal/external auditors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Job Responsibilities/Key Activities/Elements:

  • Maintain Portfolio due diligence
    • Updating credit files as required throughout the year; (FS/Insurance/Field Exam/Guarantor)
    • Perform updated due diligence searches when required (OFAC, Lit & Lien, UCC, Secretary of State, Internet, etc.)
    • Updating legal file with any amendments/notices/contracts.
  • Credit approval process by assembling credit review packages (COM’s/Memos), gathering signatures as required by policy and ensuring final approval is entered into system of record.
  • New Business compliance reviewing initial information received from prospect and providing a list of requirements need to move forward in the application process.
  • Onboard new clients into the Webster Staffing Solutions portfolio
    • Filing Webster Bank UCC-1 and confirm that it is the 1st (only) security interest.
    • Ensure company is compliant with all state & federal reporting requirements (“Good Standing” certification; d/b/a cert’s)
    • Prepare initial Credit File according to policy (FS/Field Exams/Applications/Due Diligence, etc.)
    • Prepare initial Legal file according to policy (original signature contract, guaranty, etc.)
      • Submit to Counsel for Legal review/approval as required by policy.
    • Prepare and circulate internal communication(s) announcing the new client.
    • Monitor post-closing requirements.
  • Other:
    • Initial contact for internal and external Audits.
    • Prepare and maintain internal reports for management as required (New Business, Exam schedule, Renewals, Expirations, open compliance, credit or legal items)
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in any of the following roles:

  • Paralegal
  • Bank compliance administrator
  • Office administrator
  • Loan closing administrator
  • Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor’s, and/or Master’s) preferred, yet a High School diploma or GED is required.  Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or else extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration
  • Experience with UCC filings. 
  • Project management skills and/or the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong self-confidence and good judgment
  • Ability to interface effectively with other departments and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to recognize and focus on critical issues. Flexibility to balance and respond to competing needs within the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to work efficiently in computer environment.
  • Outstanding initiative, communication skills (verbal and written), attention to detail and organizational skills required.

The estimated salary range for this position is $25.00 HR to $32.00HR. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
