ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Associate, CMO Operations, will provide support to the Senior Director of Business Operations (DBO), and help coordinate activities across the CMO organization. This role will support various initiatives, including those for communications, recognition and special events and provide other important operational support for the CMO.
Specifically, the colleague in this role will support essential communications for the business, including leadership communications and huddles/town halls, as well as plan organizational events and internal meetings.
The colleague will work collaboratively with and seek input from cross-functional team members including the US Commercial Division Communications Network, PX, and the CMO Colleague Advisory Board.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Communications and Operations:
Support planning, management and coordination of select meetings (e.g., site events, internal meetings, offsites etc.)
Schedule and/or plan events for the CMO organization (e.g. Power Hours, Speaker Series). Assist in the preparation (presentations, briefing documents, etc.) as required
Support planning and execution of townhalls, drive new ideas for colleague engagement; serve as key member of the culture team
Support internal communications to ensure clarity of understanding across all involved stakeholders, consistency of messaging across channels and enhancing collaboration as a one-CMO voice
Partner with the CMO Colleague Advisory Board on developing and executing initiatives aimed at increasing colleague engagement at all levels in the organization
Coordinate with CMO Culture Network to support the proliferation and consistency of ideas
Project Leadership
Act as a leader and/or point of contact for selected projects, either alone or in partnership with others
Provide input to other leaders/teams/colleagues as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of experience required; Bachelors’ degree preferred
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a master's degree with more than 0 year of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment, experience in a commercial role preferred
Strong project, time management and organizational skills including change leadership
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Executive presence and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to manage complex situations in a matrix organizational structure
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinking abilities
