We are seeking a Senior Associate Broker to join our growing team in Stockton, CA!
The Senior Associate Broker works directly with an established Broker under general supervision from a Broker, Profit Center Leader, or other executive. The primary duties include analyzing market research information and managing the sale of new and renewal business. This role develops and applies creative strategies based on analysis to produce new and renewal business. The position may require driving a personal or rental vehicle for business purposes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Build, expand, and solidify relationships with clients at all levels.
- Lead appropriate resources to address client needs, including risk identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues.
- Market Analysis & Strategy
- Analyze market information to develop, design, and implement creative strategies for sales team members and customers.
- Retain knowledge of all markets available to maximize opportunities for negotiating placements.
- Sales & Marketing
- Successfully market and provide solutions for new and renewal business revenue from existing clients.
- Discuss business needs and propose company products and services for new and existing clients.
- Obtain prospects and actively pursue interest through calls, emails, and personal visits.
- Operational Support
- Ensure all required information is obtained, applications completed, quotes and binders confirmed in writing, and policies issued promptly and accurately.
- Make state filings (where applicable) and ensure taxes are paid in accordance with state laws.
- Maintain compliance with Quality Control guidelines and identify process improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
- Active state insurance license.
- 2+ years of insurance or brokerage experience, preferably in wholesale.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Pay Range
$70,000 - $150,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
