About this role:
Gartner is looking for passionate, creative software Architects who are excited to foray into technology challenges and create innovative engineering solutions that can be used as a module / framework by all the platforms serving our end users. As part of Product Architecture Team, you will work closely with Product development team on their solutions, ensuring they are in line with defined Architecture Principles. The team is responsible for doing research & development into new areas, that need modernization and can help in improving any architecture pillars like resiliency, security, performance & scalability. Data Architecture is an additional focus area that will be part of this role, where in you will participate in defining & enforcing cross platform data flow standards (including data ingestion) across the BU.
As part of Client Engagement team, you will work on the high-performance web development environments using cutting edge web technologies, with a vision & objective to continuously improve Application Architecture. You will work in a multi-cloud environment and use containerized pipelines for applications.

Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts.

Create a robust data flow architecture, both within and outside BU, that can scale up and is always available & highly performant.
Partner with other technology engineers both in product development, DevOps & DBAs in a fast paced Agile/SCRUM environment.
Focus on Software quality and follow good software engineering practices
What you’ll need:
11-14 years of experience in developing customer-facing products and/or web applications, applying Architectural patterns. Strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with good communication skills.
Must have:
Expertise in designing architecture for complex systems.
Expertise in Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.
Expertise in understanding Data concepts & stores like Postgres and DynamoDB
Experience with Data Integration / ETL processes (e.g. Glue ETL)
Experience with Cloud platform like AWS
Strong experience with architectural patterns implementation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to have:
Exposure to ReactJS or similar Javascript frameworks
Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/ Service Mesh)
Built solutions using Message Queues and Caching
Exposure to Terraform and GitOps (Argo, Helm)
Exposure to Performance measurement & tuning
Experience with Visual Drawing tools like Miro, Smartdraw
Who you are:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field w/experience in software development
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communications skills interacting with technical and business audience’s.
Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills
Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new technologies/ideas and master concepts rapidly.
Intellectual curiosity, passion for technology and keeping up with new trends.
Delivering project work on-time within budget with high quality
