Reporting to the Manager, Project Systems & Analytics, the Senior Application Analyst is a subject matter expert in project controls, who is responsible for translating business needs, recommends actionable solutions and guides the implementations of functional business plans into PMIS configurations and driving process maturity across Business Units.
In this role, you will focus on supporting operations in achieving alignment between project controls practices, business processes, and integrated systems, ensuring consistency between field execution and digital platforms while balancing corporate standards with project-level flexibility. Through close collaboration with stakeholders, you will gain insight into their business processes and requirements, to translate into scalable PMIS solution options. The focus will be on enhancing efficiency, data accuracy, and long-term adoption of project controls PMIS best practices across the enterprise.
Leading a small team of Application Analysts, you will provide mentorship, guidance, and hands-on support to stakeholders, fostering collaboration across Business Units to continuously improve PMIS processes, strengthen system adoption, and advance project controls maturity across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Leads end-to-end PMIS delivery from requirements gathering and configuration to testing, training, and enhancement prioritization
- Develops best practices and documentation in collaboration with Business Units and the PMIS Operational Leads (POLs) to align operational needs
- Advises stakeholders and leaders on maximizing PMIS capabilities for process efficiency and data-driven decision-making
- Drives innovation and integration, advancing PMIS functionality and alignment with related systems and business processes
- Conducts research and benchmarking to identify and recommend new features, automation, and reporting improvements
- Supports strategic planning by identifying emerging business needs and contributing to the technology roadmap
- Leads and mentors Application Analysts, setting priorities, coaching team members, and ensuring service excellence
- Builds team capability through structured onboarding, performance management, and knowledge transfer initiatives
- Oversees complex issue resolution, coordinating responses, prioritizing incidents, and maintaining accurate service records
- Improves system resilience by recommending process and configuration changes to prevent recurring issues and enhance performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years in project controls with strong technical and practical expertise
- Deep understanding of construction services processes and the full project management lifecycle (estimation, scheduling, financial control, etc.)
- Proficiency with business and construction software — InEight Suite (preferred), JD Edwards, MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps), and Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience and Understanding in integrating ERP systems with other business applications and understanding of interoperability with mobility/workflow systems
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities for analyzing complex scenarios and defining effective solutions
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, including handling escalated or complex issues effectively
- Excellent listening, collaboration, and relationship-building skills across diverse teams
- Highly organized, precise, and capable of thriving in fast-paced, evolving, and team-oriented environments
- Skilled in developing CMS documentation and innovating or refining business processes for continuous improvement
