ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Leads troubleshooting and resolution of complex enterprise application issues, performing root cause analysis for multi-tier applications and integrations, and establishing technical guidance for recurring problems. 20%
Plans and executes enterprise and mobile application release cycles, coordinates across cross-functional teams, validates complex builds, manages risk, and ensures minimal production impact. 20%
Optimizes enterprise systems, including Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms (Azure, VMware), and integration solutions; implements scalable and secure environments to support current and future business needs. 15%
Drives automation and process improvement initiatives, leveraging scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), Power Automate workflows, and integration platform optimization to reduce operational overhead and improve system reliability. 15%
Mentors and guides IT team members, provides technical leadership to junior engineers and support teams; leads knowledge sharing, best practice adoption, and technical skill development. 10%
Develops and maintains operational standards and documentation, including runbooks, environment configuration guides, integration workflows, and deployment procedures to ensure consistency and compliance. 10%
Engages in strategic IT projects, providing technical expertise for enterprise and mobile application deployments, system upgrades, integration initiatives, and process improvement efforts; serve as a senior advisor for cross-functional technology decisions. 10%
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Associate Degree
Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree
Certificate(s) or License(s): Relevant IT certifications preferred (e.g., Boomi, Linux+, Microsoft, ITIL, Azure).
Years of experience: 5+ years in IT support, application/system administration, or enterprise integration roles, with demonstrated leadership experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Deploys, manages, and optimizes Windows and Linux environments, including server provisioning, patch management, advanced command-line operations, and virtualization platforms (Azure, VMware) for high-availability enterprise solutions.
Designs, implements, and maintains automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and Power Automate workflows to orchestrate complex processes, integrate systems, and increase operational efficiency.
Executes advanced SQL database queries and diagnostics to support troubleshooting, reporting, and enterprise integration validation.
Configures, deploys, and maintains integration platforms and APIs (e.g., Boomi, REST, SOAP), ensuring secure, reliable, and performant communication between enterprise systems.
Guides SDLC and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline configuration, automated testing, release management, and periodic mobile application deployment; provides strategic recommendations for process improvement.
Applies advanced analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills to address multi-tier, enterprise, and mobile platform issues.
Communicates complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, influences decision-making, and manages multiple high-priority projects in fast-paced enterprise environments.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional travel- 10-15% - may be required for department or program/project meetings, vendor management, or enterprise workshops.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequent sitting and use of computer equipment
Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials up to 10 lbs.
Availability and ability to work after hours, weekends, holidays, etc. as needed, to be on call and/or to fulfill job responsibilities and requirements.
The starting rate is $91,000 to $100,000 annual. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
