Be part of our talented and growing team! We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst, Regulatory Reporting, to join our team reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Reporting.
As a Senior Analyst, Regulatory Reporting, you are responsible for ensuring the Bank’s compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be involved in preparing and submitting accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to OSFI, CDIC, provincial regulators, and Statistics Canada, while meeting all applicable deadlines. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional projects that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting across the organization.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Regulatory Reporting: Prepare, review, and file a wide range of regulatory reports for multiple government agencies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Compliance & Governance: Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and assist in implementing new disclosure obligations to maintain a strong corporate governance framework.
- Internal Controls: Maintain and continuously improve internal controls for assigned regulatory returns, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.
- Process Optimization: Participate in ad hoc projects, including system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvement efforts to streamline reporting workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Risk, and other key departments to validate data integrity and ensure consistency across all reporting outputs.
- Analysis & Insights: Provide analytical support and insights on regulatory data to assist management in decision-making and strategic planning.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA Designation (or equivalent) or working towards it, is required
- Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in financial, management, or regulatory reporting, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and solid knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Professional maturity with strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across the organization.
- Experience with Alteryx, SAP, or Power BI is considered an asset.
