Job Description Summary:

This role involves managing IT projects to implement logistics systems, mainly warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), order management system (OMS) , container depot management system (CDMS & CFS), freight management system (FMS), in third-party logistics (3PL) companies, as well as providing IT helpdesk support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL management and development, as well as experience with logistics solutioning and implementation.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior System Analyst to join our team. This critical role involves managing, optimizing, and supporting our core logistics platforms, specifically the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), and Order Management System (OMS). The ideal candidate will be an expert in system analysis, data integrity, and process improvement within a fast-paced 3PL environment, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence for our clients, particularly in e-commerce and general warehousing/transport sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and configure solutions within WMS, TMS, and OMS to meet evolving business and client requirements.
  • Proactively identify gaps between current system capabilities and business requirements, and formally document and submit Change Requests (CRs) for necessary modifications.
  • Develop and maintain interface mappings (EDI/API) between logistics systems and client/carrier platforms.
  • Design, create, and maintain reports, dashboards, and Business Intelligence (BI) visualizations using SQL and reporting tools to support operational needs and decision-making.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all system-related incidents, enhancements, and projects across the logistics technology stack.
  • Provide Tier 2 Helpdesk support, resolving intermediate to complex user system issues and escalating Tier 3 issues to development teams or vendors.
  • Conduct detailed system testing, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and coordinate with operations teams to deploy changes effectively.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, process flows, and training materials.
  • Develop and deliver system training (both one-on-one and group sessions) to end-users and operations staff to ensure effective system utilization.
  • Liaise between the business stakeholders, operations teams, and external software vendors.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Mandatory SQL Expertise: Proven, in-depth experience with SQL scripting (query writing, stored procedures, function creation, and performance tuning) is essential for data extraction, manipulation, and system troubleshooting.
  • System Knowledge: Extensive hands-on experience in the implementation, configuration, and support of major WMS (e.g., Infor WMS, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump, SAP EWM), TMS, and OMS platforms.
  • Logistics Domain Expertise: Strong working knowledge of core logistics and supply chain processes, including:
    • Warehousing: Receiving, putaway, picking/packing methodologies (e.g., wave, batch), inventory control, and cycle counting.
    • E-commerce Fulfillment: Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) processes, returns management (reverse logistics), and parcel shipping integration.
    • Transportation: Load planning, carrier integration, freight rating, and route optimization.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required to interact with stakeholders and document complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
