This role is within the Accounts Payable (AP) team and it involves business partnering with the Divisions and senior management in order to provide insight into reporting, accounting, payments forecasting and performance metrics. It is an integral part of the AP team as it drives the reporting, automations and cash payments activity each month and allows the Group to take corrective action where necessary.

Job Description:
- Ensure robust and timely reporting of performance across all aspects of the payments cycle.
- Build reports to depict the performance of the team and as per the requirement of the management.
- Ensure control gaps are identified and corrective steps undertaken to improve it.
- Work with the BU’s/stakeholders to help track performance on a monthly basis and communicate that to the Senior Finance Business Partner (SFBP) & GPO.
- Ensure all payments are tracked each month in order to provide insight into any delays or opportunities.
- Work closely with the AP team to ensure all current issues are resolved and any disputes or overdue items are resolved timely.
- Identify any issues with payments process/clearance processes and then work with the P2P SME to resolve.
- Continuous improvement of reporting to ensure it meets the changing needs of the business and senior stakeholders
- Identify and implement any opportunities for automation and simplification of P2P- MIS reporting
- Regularly review, redesign and restructure processes and reports as per the changing needs of the business.
- Supporting the investigation of internal audit findings; implement corrective action and monitor compliance with agreed upon recommendations.
- Participating in process and system improvement initiatives in collaboration with other Finance leadership to enhance reporting and data across P2P.
