Your Role: Senior Advisor, Corporate Strategy
The Senior Advisor, Corporate Strategy will assist in the development and continuous evolution of Elanco’s corporate strategy. The incumbent will oversee and coordinate enterprise-wide projects, conduct ad-hoc business analyses to assess the commercial viability of opportunities and help crystallize the overarching priorities of the company (“Must Wins”). The incumbent will also contribute to the development and maintenance of Elanco’s 5-year strategic plans.
Your Responsibilities:
Continuously stay up to date on industry trends and developments, assess impact on corporate strategy and proactively identify actions to retain competitive advantage at a macro level
Lead ad-hoc and enterprise-wide projects to determine strategic fit and/or commercial attractiveness (incl. resourcing needs).
Continually strengthen Elanco’s IPP strategy, by outlining and cross-functionally aligning key strategic initiatives underneath each of the three pillars
Together with the Corporate Strategy Team, develop a cohesive corporate strategy framework to enable business units and regions to realize their growth aspirations within defined strategic boundaries
Work with the Corporate Strategy Team to assess the current business considering long-term industry changes and outline future areas of organic and inorganic growth in line with the corporate strategy framework.
Contribute to the development of Elanco’s business and strategic planning process, shaping a realistic and compelling storyline
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in business administration; MBA a clear advantage
Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy, business consulting or commercial functions
5+ years of Animal Health industry experience is a must
Strong business acumen with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable outcomes; highly skilled in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
Excellent communicator and influencer with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; adept at aligning cross-functional teams and driving execution to meet key timelines.
