This role will participate in the IFRS 17 Business Plan Project, including analysis, explanation and communication of the result. The role will also involve in any ad-hoc forecast, regular bases comparison.Job Descriptions:
Support the IFRS 17 Business Planning, including
Support the regular IFRS 17 business plan and forecast project, including analysis, explanation, and communication of the results.
Assist in overall analytical review (sources of earning, analysis of movement) on key projected finance disclosures.
Assist in managing and monitoring IFRS operating profits (one of the KPIs) by understanding projected IFRS results.
Support the IFRS17 forecasts and assist in managing and monitoring the IFRS operating profits.
Support the financial changes, including
Coordinating the impact assessments of cross-basis financial changes. Focusing on the impact assessments under IFRS17 basis.
Assisting in IFRS 17 ad-hoc projects, including methodology changes and initiatives on financial improvement.
Process improvement & Control: Identify and implement actuarial processes improvements and controls for enhancing the overall efficiency.
Job Requirements:
University degree holder majoring in a numerical subject (e.g. Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics etc.).
Passes in multiple actuarial examinations offered by the Society of Actuaries, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, or other equivalent actuarial bodies.
A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience is required.
Proficiency in actuarial software is an advantage.
Knowledge of Prophet and stochastic modelling is an advantage.
Must be able to work independently and manage workload accordingly.
Good interpersonal, communication, planning & management skills.
