Northbridge Financial

Senior Actuarial Analyst - Commercial Portfolio Pricing

Toronto, ON Full time

What it's like to be a Northbridge Bilingual Senior Actuarial Analyst/Consultant

As the Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will be known in the organization for being an expert in providing insights to many teams, including claims, finance, and underwriting. This allows us to best serve our customers while mitigating risk. You’ll use your strong actuarial knowledge to analyze trends, identify emerging risks, and ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives. The team leverages data-driven insights to enhance rate adequacy, competitiveness, and profitability across the commercial portfolio.

You are passionate about digging deep into the data to uncover meaningful insights and providing your take on what we should do next. This doesn’t just mean being good with numbers – it also means being able to explain complex findings in a clear, compelling way to leaders without an actuarial background. Working in collaboration with other actuaries and data scientists within our team, there are opportunities to utilize advanced analytics and predictive modeling to refine pricing structure and ensure that Northbridge stays on the cutting edge in this competitive industry.
