We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic Reuters sales team, focusing on the Financial Services category. This role is responsible for driving revenue through digital advertising, custom content partnerships, and event sponsorships for both new and existing clients.
The ideal candidate will be a proven expert in financial media sales, with a strong track record of building strategic partnerships and delivering innovative solutions.
About the Role
In this opportunity as a Senior Account Executive, you will:
Sales & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue within the financial category.
Drive digital advertising and custom content partnerships across Reuters platforms and off-platform channels.
Identify and close new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing clients.
Client Solutions & Collaboration
Partner with Integrated Marketing, Ad Operations, Social, and Reuters Plus Studio to deliver best-in-class client experiences.
Leverage Reuters’ data and insights to craft compelling proposals and demonstrate ROI.
Industry Engagement
Represent Reuters at key industry events and organizations to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
Stay informed on financial industry trends and digital advertising innovations.
Event Sponsorship
Develop and sell event sponsorship packages aligned with client objectives and Reuters’ brand positioning.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Senior Account Executive if you have the following qualifications:
Minimum 6+ years in media sales, with a focus on financial services.
Demonstrated success in building partnerships at a leading media company, with specific examples of high-impact deals.
Deep knowledge of the financial category and its key players.
Strong understanding of the digital ecosystem (on-platform and off-platform).
Proficiency in leveraging data and insights to drive client strategies.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage complex projects.
Industry Presence: Active involvement in relevant industry organizations is highly desirable.
