Raytheon is hiring for a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer assigned to 5th shift with the hours of (5 PM - 5 AM Fri- Mon). The selected candidate will serve as a support equipment engineer specializing in the photolithography and metrology work center toolsets, working hands-on in a cleanroom environment. This role requires the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment within the cleanroom. Supported toolsets include, but are not limited to, Tokyo Electron resist tracks, Suss Aligners, ASML steppers, and various peripheral photo equipment such as microscopes, spin rinse dryers (SRDs), and ovens. The position demands a high level of expertise with electrical, electro-mechanical, and gas systems typically found in semiconductor operations, with an expectation for future expansion to support a broader range of equipment.

What You Will Do

  • Document equipment related issues
  • Ability to diagnosis system issues based on experience and technical manuals
  • Able to quickly tirage down equipment and make repairs based on needs and urgency.
  • Requires support of emergency response team (ERT). 

Qualifications You Must Have   

  • Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. 
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards
  • Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics
  • Must have a fundamental understanding of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations
  • Able to document work and provide detailed pass down’s.
  • Able to document relevant work instructions for preventative maintenance program.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software
  • Related experience as a hand-on Equipment Maintenance Technician/ Engineer maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment or military equipment
  • Self-starter able to work independently as well as work in groups while leading a team
  • Ability to pull and analyze tool data
  • Proficient use of MS Office products

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
