Summary:
Clover Park, the spring training home of the New York Mets, is seeking dedicated and professional Security Specialists to join our Public Safety team. Security Specialists play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of all guests, employees, players, and property. This position involves providing excellent customer service while maintaining a visible and proactive security presence throughout the ballpark and surrounding facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to maintain a safe environment
Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas, including seating, concourses, parking lots, and team facilities
Enforce stadium rules, regulations, and policies in a professional and customer-focused manner
Respond to incidents, alarms, and medical emergencies according to established procedures
Assist with crowd management during games, practices, and special events
Provide information and assistance to guests, staff, and vendors
Document security activity, incidents, and observations in daily reports
Work cooperatively with local law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other public safety partners
Perform other duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor or management
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Valid Florida Class “D” Security Officer License (or ability to obtain before start date)
Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during events and baseball season
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
