Role Overview:
The Security Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting McAfee’s cybersecurity risk management program. This includes facilitating risk workshops, identifying and assessing risks, monitoring risk treatment plans, tracking key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), and producing risk reports to inform decision-making across the organization.
This position is based in Ireland preferably in either Dublin or Cork. You may be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis. We are only considering candidates currently in Ireland are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About the Role:
- Conducting and facilitating risk identification workshops across McAfee.
- Performing detailed risk assessments aligned to McAfee’s cybersecurity risk methodology.
- Monitoring and tracking risk treatment plans to ensure timely mitigation and resolution.
- Maintaining and reporting on KRIs and KPIs to measure risk posture and program effectiveness.
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of McAfee’s risk management framework.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across McAfee to ensure risks are accurately captured and addressed.
- Preparing risk dashboards and reports for executive-level steering committees and other governance forums.
About You:
- Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the same field.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks, such as NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST CSF and ISO/IEC 27005. Able to apply these frameworks to real-world scenarios, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
- Experience implementing AI risk management practices, such as assessing risks associated with AI/ML models, data privacy, model bias, and adversarial threats. Familiarity with emerging standards and guidelines for AI risk, including the NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including experience with risk metrics and dashboards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive security initiatives and remediation efforts.
- Strong project management skills and experience in managing security projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting on project progress and outcomes.
