Responsibilities:

  • Assist in schedules across all regional sites
    • Event/Incident/Enterprise support effort coordination for all regional guard assets
  • Critical Plan/Procedure oversight, updating
  • Risk Assessment contribution – activity specific assessing
  • Visitor Management Auditing
  • Ambient AI application/use oversight
  • Provide input for Security Guard Candidate Applicant reviews with Managers
  • Coordinate with Operations Managers to align data analysis and security deployment efforts
  • Coordinates Regional Process Improvements for Guard Force
  • Collaborates with each sites Lead Guards
  • Plan and conduct advanced security training for all security officers (serve as FTO)
  • Observe issuance of proper visitor badges including ITAR
  • Respond to emergency situations (fire/medical/suspicious person/etc.)
  • Execute security support as dictated by Blue Origin security leadership
  • Function as liaison with law enforcement and emergency responders
  • Provides feedback for evaluations, trends, and merit conversations of Guard Force

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 8+ years combined experience in military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with administrative practices including scheduling, reporting, and presenting
  • Experience serving as a trainer, mentor, coach
  • History of critical incident handling experience
  • Experience instructing security tactics, operations, and procedures

Preferred Skills:

  • Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree
  • History of critical incident handling experience
  • Documented small team leadership experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to de-escalate disputes and/or conflict(s)
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Computer based proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Extensive team-oriented experience
  • Impeccable character/integrity
  • Ability to de-escalate disputes and/or conflict(s)
  • Experience instructing security tactics/operations/procedures
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
