What you will be doing
Facilitating settlements on syndicated loans and ensuring compliance with trade agreements.
Reviewing legal trade documents for accuracy and completeness.
Managing heavy email traffic with external clients and counterparties.
Performing compensation calculations using Excel for trade settlements.
Generating trade advice for mailing/emailing to clients.
Preparing monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc reports for managers.
Identifying and logging failed trades; escalating issues to prevent buy-ins.
Participating in weekly client calls and maintaining strong client relationships.
Communicating status updates and resolving bottlenecks with client executives
Other related duties as assigned.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in securities operations, syndicated loans, or trade settlement.
Strong understanding of loan syndication processes and trade documentation.
Advanced Excel skills (including formulas and calculations).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
Ability to manage high-volume email traffic and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with external clients and senior-level stakeholders.
Knowledge of financial markets and trade settlement practices preferred.
