Position Overview
The Quality Control Associate ensures that products and processes meet established quality standards. This role involves performing inspections, tests, and audits to identify defects or deviations, helping maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products
Document and report test results accurately and promptly
Identify and escalate quality issues or non-conformities
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment
Collaborate with production and QA teams to resolve quality concerns
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations (e.g., GMP, ISO)
Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field preferred; associate degree or relevant certification acceptable
Experience in quality control, manufacturing, or laboratory settings is a plus
Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficiency in documentation and data entry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
