Overview

CACI is seeking a highly motivated Scrum Master to join our team supporting the Military Sealift Command (MSC). In this role, you will guide Agile teams that deliver enterprise IT solutions critical to MSC’s mission. You will enable high-performing teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive the successful adoption of Agile practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

As a Scrum Master with CACI supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC), you will:

  • Coach Agile teams in self-organization, continuous learning, and higher levels of maturity and performance.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts, including backlog and user story refinement, Definition of Done, automated testing, and PI Planning.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as  iteration planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure clear acceptance criteria, backlog prioritization, and maximum solution value.
  • Establish and maintain Scrum/Kanban boards to visualize work and enhance flow.
  • Identify and help remove impediments, enabling teams to meet commitments and deliver mission-critical capabilities.
  • Act as a servant leader, persuading rather than using authority to drive progress.
  • Support team members in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Support cross-team collaboration within the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure alignment, dependency management, and effective delivery of whole-product solutions.
  • Build trust and foster high-performing team dynamics through self-management, transparent communication, collective alignment, and a fun, collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Agile software development environments.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for technical teams.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and servant leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Expertise in Jira Software, Confluence
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (Secret)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Military Sealift Command or similar maritime/logistics organizations.
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$98,500-$206,800
