Position Summary:
The Scrub Technician is a member of the surgical team performing scrub duties throughout the surgical procedure. The scrub tech works under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Physical Requirements
Frequent gripping and pinching > 10 lbs.
Squatting up to 1 minute, Standing up to 2 hours. Occasional kneeling on either knee.
Occasional lift up to 50 lbs. floor to waist. Occasional lift up to 20 lbs. waist to shoulder.
Frequent carry up to 30 lbs. Occasional push/pull up to 40 lbs.
Threshold Requirements are required and completed yearly basis, Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation, TB/PPD, Surveillance Program.
Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
