We, the Digital Biomarker (dBM) and Remote Patient Management (RPM) Chapter in Roche Information Solutions (RIS), are an integrated team of scientists, technologists, data analysts and operations experts, that leverages mobile technologies like smartphones and wearables to bring the power of sensor measures to patients everywhere: in clinical drug trials and clinical care.
We drive research, workflows and analytics for Digital Biomarkers and Remote Patient Management
in RIS. Together with our partners, we invent, design and deliver solution capabilities, products and services for better clinical research and improved healthcare outcomes.
We co-create innovative digital remote monitoring concepts for sensitive and meaningful drug development endpoints, implement them in technology solutions, develop health related outcome measures with the data, seek community- and regulatory acceptance of corresponding endpoints and offer them to Biopharma companies and research institutes for use in clinical trials.
We are also establishing the scientific foundations for remote disease monitoring and screening solutions in clinical practice and enable patients and healthcare providers to leverage the power of sensor data for better outcomes in the management of neurological disease, diabetes and others.
Establish the digital science capability of the Digital Biomarker (dBM) and Remote Patient Management (RPM) chapter in RIS Data, Analytics & Research (DA&R).
Develop a roadmap and lead the development of novel digital outcome measures for use in clinical trials and clinical care and drive regulatory and community acceptance.
Lead (establish, grow and mature) the digital biomarker science team serving the full range of RIS needs, from digital biomarker research to clinically validated algorithms for use in RIS products
Represent Science in the dBM&RPM chapter leadership team and contribute to the evolution of the chapter
