SAP Solution Program Manager

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for the delivery of programs through a methodical approach of planning, executing, and controlling projects from start to finish. The Senior Staff Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of SAP ERP projects. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ERP systems and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The Staff Solution Program Manager demonstrates solution ownership and guides teams through program execution process to realize strategic objectives of the franchises they support.  Applying standard program management practices and frameworks aligned with company objectives, the Staff SPM effectively addresses routine and moderately challenging issues. They balance independent decision-making with collaborative teamwork to apply established methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to drive successful outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, program management, execution and on-time delivery of SAP ERP projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Ensure that SAP ERP projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Build and maintain overall detailed project plan, Gantt chart, status updates, and RAIDE Register (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Escalations) integrating all cross-functional workstreams.
  • Maintain and update project schedule and dependencies integrated with Agile teams, ARTs, and Solutions PI Plans
  • Lead release-based program core team and steering committee meetings for assigned program(s)
  • Lead project-related activities of project team members, providing guidance on conformance to established computer systems validation procedures.
  • Identify and assess mitigation options for program risks and issues, and escalate as needed to ensure program success
  • Assist Business Process Owners and core teams in problem solving and scenario analysis to assess impact of change requests
  • Provide input to Agile teams and ARTs review during PI planning and assess impact of PI Planning output to overall plan
  • Adhere to all regulatory agency standards, company quality standards and corporate policies.
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as business needs demand.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Agile/SAFe certification and transformation experience
  • Project management certification preferred
  • Experience leading development, testing, and delivery of SAP ERP Projects
  • Experienced working with Agile teams to develop and launch strategic projects against concreate deadlines
  • Knowledge of computer systems validation and QMS compliance
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to function in a fast-paced, growth industry and work environment
  • Proficient in the following computer software applications: MS 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Project, Outlook, Teams), Smartsheet, SharePoint, Timeline Pro

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated work experience in a technical discipline and in a program management role

Additional Information

  • The position is hybrid at our London Office.
  • Travel is estimated at 10% but will flex depending on business need.
