JOB TITLE: SALESFORCE ADMINISTRATOR II

REPORTS TO (Title): SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

· Responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting the Salesforce environment within MegaCorp Logistics.

· Ensures stability and reliability of the platform while driving efficiency through user support, configuration, and continuous improvement.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Collaborates closely with the Sales and Sales Operations teams and partners with an external Managed Service Provider (MSP) for complex development or integration needs.

· Serves as the primary administrator for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Sales Engagement.

· Manages user accounts, profiles, roles, and permissions.

· Configures and maintains page layouts, fields, record types, workflows, process builders, flows, and validation rules.

· Monitors system health and performance, ensuring platform stability and timely resolution.

· Collaborates with Sales Operations to implement enhancements that align with business objectives.

· Coordinates with the MSP for advanced troubleshooting, integrations, and platform extensions.

· Supports end-user adoption by assisting with documentation and training initiatives.

· Maintains data integrity through routine audits, deduplication, and data quality monitoring.

· Generates and maintains dashboards, reports, and analytics.

· Tracks and manages work in Jira to ensure transparency and timely delivery.

· All other duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills,

· Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.

· Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, automation, and data management best practices.

· Experience with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Sales Engagement.

· Familiarity with Tableau or similar analytics tools preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum 3 years of Salesforce administration experience supporting Sales and Marketing operations.

· Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or related industry strongly preferred.

· Salesforce Administrator certification preferred

 

TRAVEL and Office REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to travel to one of our offices 1 week a quarter
  • If local to one of our offices, you can have a hybrid work schedule
